SilverEvo8owner
I have been looking around and have found nothing. I am looking for a one way rental vehicle with a hitch on it to tow my car to texas for my internship this summer. There are SUV's available for rent but I have not found anything that has said they have hitch's available. Anybody know anything? Thanks in advance
Tractor
I see U-Hauls towing trailers all the time. Evan
SilverEvo8owner
Yeah I know the moving trucks do but I dont need a moving truck. Just an SUV or small truck.
Tractor
Well then basically the larger SUV's or fullsize american trucks are gonna be about all the rental places will have. I doubt any Enterprise is gonna have trucks with hitches. Likely for safety reasons. How about a U-Haul pickup or penske or how ever its spelled. Dave1647545494
it would cost you less money to just drive your car to texas but u-haul should have 1 way pickup truck or van you can rent
TimTaylor751647545500
The way gas prices are right now, no way I would want to pay to rent a big truck to tow a car that gets +20 mpg all the way to TX.
ODoyle
U-haul rents F-150s with hitch's
Guest Removed
U-haul rents F-150s with hitch's and i think that your not allowed to tow the car trailers with the pick up. at least that is what i was told awhile back bye uhaul when we rented them out at DJ's. kirks5oh
uhaul won't let you tow car trailers with certain vehicles, like our explorer. i'm renting two 17' uhauls and car trailers to move in a few weeks. for a 17' uhaul and a trailer to florida, they quoted us around $700. i checked penske, and budget, and uhaul has the best price. if you get the smallest moving truck (10', i think), and the trailer, you will most likely pay considerably less. Guest Removed
i think the 15's and 17's are the only one's (and bigger) that you can put the trailers on. but call and double check
81mercury
we towed a car to md last year using the ten foot truck and a dolly, they wouldnt let us rent the trailer with the ten foot truck
Ziggy1647545504
Enterprise Truck will rent you a 1 ton pickup with a hitch, but they won't do one way.
Tractor
Hehe thinking for about it. Why not just drive your car? Your gonna get 10 to 15 mpg in the tow vehicle while pulling it + rental of trailer and truck. Evan
