IIRC, BPR6ES is stock, 7 is one range colder . Just tell them what you want, and dont' bother with "for what car". Just "I want NGK BPR7ES". These guy's are not car specialist, they just sit behind a shitty cross-reference computer.

Walking in and telling them what you want will always save you the headache of wanting to choke someone that knows nothing about your setup. I never bother to tell them what the car is unless it really matters.

Dave1647545494
becuase they proably just list a plain old lancer in the book and not the turbo model go to a parts store where they sell parts for cars and not tractors and you'll have better luck I think

SilverEvo8owner
I run NGK Br8es and I get them from autozone. Just always know what you want before you go to the store. I found out a long time ago that it saves a lot of hassles.

neonkiller
i have even checked there web site, they list the same stuff online as they do store. the plugs i bought were wrong, and the plug boots were way to long... god damn evo Please do not bash your car, seems as if you had more knowledge about what you were looking for you would choose a place other than auto zone to get your car what it needs and the questions answered correctly. If I were gonna need parts for my evo I would say talk to Buschur its oonly two hours away.

solorange
Check out http://www.sparkplugs.com. They have what you need. When I ordered from them two days later the sparkplugs were at my doorstep.
2highpsi
I gave up on Autozone when they couldnt even get a valve cover gasket for my car. I get my plugs at Advanced Auto. Like everyone said just dont tell them what its for. I am running NGK BPR8ES. If you are stock, stick with the NGK BPR7ES. Any other factory parts I need for the car (like gaskets) I order from http://www.mitsubishiparts.net .
