Ok... Where is the engine in this car? Trunk in the front, convertable storage in the middle, trunk in the back.

Most Porsches are rear engine cars. This is not a rear engine car.

 

Really???? I'm well aware its not a rear engine car. How long have Boxters been around? 1996. 11 years.

 

The question struck me as odd considering that it been around so long. BTW its a 986/987 not a 914

I know it's not a 914, I work at Midstate! There's 3-4 hanging around here. That's the only car I can think of to compare it to, engine locale wise

Is this question seriously still up in the air?

The layout is more like a 904 without a top. The boxer flat engine sits as low as possible, as centrally located as possible.

 

I don't know what the fuck a 904 is, but in my day we used blanks. You're a sick fuck, Eric. Err, Mack.
