IRL/ALMS Friday Practice Session

My friend went to the Rahal facility a few weeks back for a blood drive. While there he met a bunch of people and entered in a raffle for a weekends worth of hospitality from the team. I was fortunate enough to be asked to join him on Friday.

 

Upon arriving we headed over to the hospitality truck and got our passes and such for the day. The entire experience was mind boggling. We had lunch next to Mr. Rahal himself and got to hear them talking strategy for the big race. Very cool.

 

To make a long story short, we grabbed a cart and hit up a lot of spots along the track. Most of which I had never shot at. I've got plenty more pictures, but these are my favorites. I am going to print one of the pictures of their car out and my buddy is going to make a custom CF frame to put it in and give to them as a thank you gift. So let me know which one you like best of that car.

Great pictures. That sounds like the right way to visit an event like that. I love how close to the "behind-the-scenes" you can get there.

It is great there. I love getting paddock passes so you can see everything up close and personal. I had an opportunity to go to a Grand Am event a couple years ago with the same kind of treatment. They know how to treat their guests.
