1st-what size tire should i put on a 18x10.5 and it still fit under a camro z28?

2nd- what cam should i get for a 2000 camaro z-28. its an auto, basic bolt on, long tubes, true duals, lid, msd wires and free mods. i know i'm gonna do a lifter, spring pushrod kit but what should be the specs for it.

It boils down to what you want out of a cam. There is no right or wrong answer, only advice on cam characteristics.... bucking/surging, stalling, exhaust volume, gas milage, idle, etc. A good tune goes a long way, but a big cam isnt for everyone. What you should do is ride a long in a few cammed auto cars and use that to make up your mind.

I'm in the cam game right now myself. At first I thought 228/232 was enough...

+1 I have a 6-speed car, I started with a .224/.224 @.050 .551 that would work good with your auto, but I wasn't happy with that, so installed a much larger cam, specs are a secret :p

HPE c-cam with an auto....those things make some killer power. and put down good numbers too. im sure you already know this..but dont go buying cams for HP numbers. its the performance and track times that count
