being japanese I eat noodles alot aka ramen or soba, or cold noodles in the summer. When I do eat the (cheap) ramen typically i eat typical japanese style, I put lettuce, fry a few peices ham made for sandwiches, and add 1 egg at the end and add red ginger.

LOL Yeah, I was oblivious to "real" ramen until I took a japanese friend out to a sushi restaurant and he ordered it. I thought he was just trying to be cheap until they brought it out... I keep meaning to get back there and try it, smelled soooo good.

This one lasts me a couple days....

4 packs of various flavor Ramen

1 can Armour chili with beans

1/4lb Summer sausage cubed small

1/2 Vidalia onion, diced

big dollop of whatever cheese spread or dip you prefer(Kroger chile con queso dip FTW)

Dollop of BBQ sauce(hickory smoke for preference)

dollop of pizza or spaghetti sauce

a couple squirts of Frank's Red Hot.

Cook the ramen, drain, then add flavor.

Mix all other ingredients thoroughly, then nuke it for a couple minutes.

Mix flavored noddles and everything else.

Nuke it again for a minute and stir again to get it uniformly hot.

I like it on tortilla's, but I usually just eat it out of a bowl.

Like I said, it can last me two or three days, and I'm a monstrous fat-ass.

BTW, it seems like the best amounts for the BBQ sauce and cheese sauce is about 4 big tablespoons each. Much more than that, and you can't taste the chili. Same for the pizza sauce(which is optional, BTW, I like it either way)

My usual flavors for the ramen is 1 each of Beef, Picante Chicken, Shrimp, and Oriental. Maruchan brand by preference.
