Selling because I don't shoot the thing and I would rather have the money at this point.

As said, I am selling my Springfield XD-9mm with a 4 inch barrel. I am including a 15 round mag and a 16 round mag with at least 31 personal defense rounds (I need to see how many I have). Also included: 1 case, 1 cheap CCW holster, cable slide lock, and Hogue grip.

Asking $350 obo.

Scott knows this.

~2000 rounds through it. Recently cleaned and oiled. The gun is mechanically sound with a good firing pin.

Edit: Here are pics. For some reason in the pictures, the spots where the finish is wearing looks bronze. It is actually an opaque black.

What do I have to do to purchase this? I have never bought a gun before, I understand if I bought it from a dealer I have to wait 7 days right? What happens from another person, and how do I get a permit for it or make it registered to me?

Basically just a bill of sale from Hal to You, Showing serial numbers and copy's of both of your drivers licenses. The basic idea is to show a paper trail from Hal to you

You do not need a permit, nor do you need to get it registered to you. You can do an FFL transfer through a gun store like vances but it usually costs more money for there fee plus the cost of the background check :D

Just exchange name, number, address. Put it on a piece of paper, write model of weapon down with serial number, both sign and state how much said weapon was sold for. Include date and signature, basically that's all you need. It's a nice firearm too, it'll shoot straight even if you don't. I shot winchester FMJ's through it a bit, but had Federal 124 grain Hydrashocks for the personal protection sense. I'd personally do a set of night sights, get a TLR1/X300 Surefire tac light, and some more Federal 124 grain Hydrashock ammo.

[bTW] Mag release is ambi, so the botton is on both sides to drop the mag. That's one big reason I always liked the gun. I've got a gunsmith I know that can do work if you need it.

Ben,

As long as you haven't committed a crime, shakey background, or a military background, you should be able to walk right out with any weapon same day. Most civilians with clean records will walk in and out with their firearms, where I wait for a few days and pick mine up.

9mm is nothing to be worried about...with the ammo described, upon impact, it will expand to over .80" (from 9mm which i believe comes out to about .36"). it would put a nice size hole in someone if you ever had to shoot someone.

plus, the best way to get better is to shoot more, and 9mm is the cheapest ammo you're gonna get
