hpfiend
Hey guys, Anyone ever heard of this group? Approved and locked in for an auto loan but found out that I would not be receiving terms on loan until after I used the pre-approved blank check... this was unacceptable so I requested a specific amount check and will negotiate with cash over that instead so I can get the terms ahead of time.. 4.5% on 60 months, no prepayment penalties, NCUA insured, gap coverage, etc. Sounds too good to be true. Thanks, Andrew 6.15 is the best rate I can find locally.

Scotty2Hotty
I didn't know if it was availible to the public market, I know they tried to keep it solely for DOD and Military personel. They've got some crazy low interest rates on a few things. I'll be taking a loan out through them next year.
Furloaf
They have the best gas cash rebate credit card. 5% flat, no bullshit involved like limits, minimum spending, spending brackets. Also anyone can join if you become a member of the National Military Family Association for a $20 fee.

zeitgeist57
Credit Unions, based on legislation passed in the last few years, can offer bank products and services, but don't pay any taxes. Definitely a good way to go for consumers...very competitive rates...
