CJINOHIO03
I am guessing it can only be done via a truck. Has anyone ever done this? Or bought one themselves? How was it shipped? Pricing etc? I have no way to lug this hood some where to get a price quote and just trying to get a ball park. Thanks CJ
Scotty2Hotty
Over size charge I'm guessing will run you atleast $65+, and it'll have to be by truck freight.
silverhatch
I have shipped a hood to BC Canada before. It had to be sent truck freight. I made a wood boxed in frame. After the hood was in place, I used expandable foam in bags on all 4 corners to secure. It got there fine.
starkmaster03
I had one shipped to and from AZ $150 through RL Carriers and it arrived on a 3/4 semi.

Clifford Automotive
Where is it coming from and where is it going? What kind of hood is it? I would suggest framing it. It seen plenty of hood damage in my lifetime of the body industry, even just being shipped 10 miles or less.

They a only had it in a box with foam on the nose of the hood and the back two corners. The painter fix them for me for free so it wasn't that bad. baron_
greyhound is cheapest but there's absolutely no guarantee on anything can show up damaged, or not at all....could be 'lost' at any time along the way
Flybye
package it good and ship greyhound if the buyer has one close to them. because they dont ship to the home...it just goes to the greyhound destination
