morphout
The car is a '94; bought it in '05 with under 60K miles on it when the silverado started puking oil Until about 3 weeks ago, it was bone stock. Did a head swap (2000 head) for better flow, and installed the turbo on it. Did a flyin' miata kit. Also installed exhaust + cat, radiator, clutch, flywheel, did full synthetic change, etc. etc. Still having some issues with the EBC, so i've been running strictly on the wategate at 7 PSI. I think the EBC is bad, but the goal is 12 PSI, and with any luck, >250 RWHP. I'll be digging into the wiring this weekend. As it's night, I can only give up night shots. If i figure out how to post them, that is.....

slowteg
It would not hurt to clean your car before you take a pic of it and whats up with your wiper blades, and just kill the flyin' your miata
morphout
lol.... a little dirt never hurt anyone.... well, except that guy; and he had it coming anyways I'll give it a good washdown and snap some shots tomorrow, but as they say, "you can't polish a turd" The car is 14 years old, and so is the OEM paint job. Ive got refinish in mind for next spring, but there's a good chance I'll be deployed in september that'll put new paint off for quite awhile i figure. Wiper blades were put on the car a week after i bought it...in '05. And they haven't topped the priority list for replacement since...i suppose that time is coming quickly though. As for the windshield tag...sorry, it's stickin around for awhile...but if you dont want to look at it, ive got some pretty OEM tail lights

morphout
LOL. I'll be putting snow tires on the stock alloys this winter, new wheels/summer tires should be springtime... Tires still have plenty of room before they reach the wear-bars as they sit. :burn:

FourString
Get some new tires on that NA and get it out to autocross! A turbo Miata would do great. Welcome to CR. But seriously, change the tires soon. TurboRust is right...those tires are definitely worn more than what you apparently think.
morphout
Here's the same tire; under daylight. Notice the shadow being cast over the wear bar by the tread. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/morphout/DSCN0742.jpg And a nice day-shot of the car http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/morphout/DSCN0745.jpg What sort of auto-x events are there in the area? I only know of the ones BMC hosts.
FourString
SCCA-OVR has quite a few in the Columbus area. These are obviously different from the ones hosted by BMC. PM Ben, CR member "MrAutoX", for more info if you wish. He will be able to provide you with all of the info you need.

morphout
Yes, me thinks whoever designed the original miata was confused on whether they wanted a magic mountain go-kart or a real car Parks like a glove in parallel spots half the size of most
morphout
Seeing as how i'm pretty much worthless to this board w/o rep, i suppose I'll make myself feel more important by putting up some pics of my other toys The toy hauler.... http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/morphout/DSCN0750.jpg It's a pain in the butt finding someone who wants to do some REAL jet-skiing...They all want to play on 3-person Barges.... http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/morphout/DSCN0749.jpg When i bought the trailer, someone asked me "what the hell are you going to haul in that thing?" Flyin Miata
Welcome, good choice on your car and color . I wish my paint looked half as good as yours does, I've got a bad case of the front and rear bumper fade. Here's a pic of mine before the paint really went downhill. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/miataman91/Miata%20and%20GLI/DSCN0734.jpg?t=1217810324 I live around the campus area during school months, so keep an eye out for mine if you're ever around. morphout
oh and quit paying too much at some other ntb for your tires and call me when you need new ones. *Note to self....get tires from Turbo* Ahh, another NA owner....looks like i can relax a bit now Regarding the paint, i think the car was in a garage and under a cover for the first 11 years of its life. Over that time, it averaged about 5500 miles/year. I've nearly doubled that in the last 3 years. Your paint looks damn good in that pic, esp for being 17 years/old. How long ago was that pic? What kind of bar is that and how tall are you? Any issues with it?
