dragknee66
Has anyone tried Rosetta Stone? I was thinking about trying the Spanish one. Anyone?
Rally Pat
I tried the Japanese one. It was ok, but I don't like the teaching method. I much prefer audio books and classes.
mmrmnhrm
Nothing beats actual classroom instruction. If nothing else, take a quarter or two through Ohio State's Continuing Ed program (http://www.continuinged.ohio-state.edu/CED_noncreditLang.html) before going pure computer. petraman
I bet you can get it done the RIGHT way by going to Columbus State for a language. I went to it for about a year and there are actually some very talented teachers. Not sure about Spanish, I took Japanese . I think that each credit hour is like 80 bucks or something, so it's not that much more expensive, I don't think... And they have night classes

Unless you're strong-willed; some people are personally motivated to learn languages by themselves.

Scotty2Hotty
I just got Spanish, but I plan on trying out Arabic and German later on. I've heard from all over to do it, nothing else works better or teaches you better.
ImUrOBGYN
I have Spanish. I think I gave my Japanese CD to someone else. I liked it.

twistedfocus1647545489
What's wrong.....you tired of not understanding all the Mexicans you arrest? My guess is that it's not only extremely helpful, but extremely funny when someon pulls the "No Speak Engles" line and you bust out some "Yo Hablo Espanol"
