  1. hey, i live in german village too. if you ever need a hand with the bike/carbs whatever, let me know.
  2. as stated, price is the big one. it's cheaper for the shipper. another big advantage is that the USPS offers coverage to every residential address in the US, as well as PO boxes, APO, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and all other US territories. fedex can not deliver to a POB or to an APO. they ship to guam, alaska, hawaii etc, but it costs an arm and a leg. from the seller's perspective, you dont want to give someone a reason NOT to buy from you. if you're joe customer from guam, and you get on my site and see i dont ship to guam (or i do ship there for $$$) thats a lost sale... another advantage is saturday delivery. the USPS brings your mail on saturday. standard fedex ground does not deliver on saturday. you CAN get sat delivery through fedex at an additional cost. tracking is included with smartpost at no additional charge. FYI after fedex hands the pkg off to your post office, you can track on the USPS site by putting 92 in front of the fedex tracking number. no residential surcharge either. FedEx has a surcharge of like $3.25 to deliver to a residential address. UPS is about the same last time i checked. USPS does not have this surcharge. fuel surcharges are still included, but they are drastically reduced. can be up to 50% in many cases. yes, transit times can be a little longer, due to the package being handed off to the USPS for final mile delivery... but if this was a truly time critical shipment, you would have picked 3 day or next day service.
  3. my cousin took three marijuanas and ODed and died. we also suspect he was sharing marijuana needles. good for them getting that dangerous weed off the streets!
  4. see username plz. i am dissapoint
  5. you can easily win, because its a total bullshit argument. just seems that no one apparently wants to call them on it. do they have any objective scientific evidence that having no front plate is somehow less safe than having two? or it just just based on their own anecdotal evidence? sure they will say, oh sometimes a hit and run gets solved because the front plate is left there. does anyone ask what percentage of total hit and runs are solved this way? probably 1% or less... they say no front plate will save the state at least a million per year. should we really be spending this money to solve 5 hit and runs? they will say, oh it makes it harder to identify when a criminal is driving towards you blah blah blah... MI, KY, WV, IN and PA don't require a front plate... so what happens there? are criminals just getting away with stuff everywhere? if the cops in those states can handle it, im sure the cops here can handle it. if not, then they are basically admitting that the police in every state where you only need one plate are better at their job than OSHP, and we KNOW that's not true. the REAL reason they dont want it to go away is because a) it gives them a reason to stop you when they have no other reason. b) it generates revenue for them. c) its a nice big laser target, which links to b - revenue generation.
  6. he isnt TRYING to ruin the floor. cats do not do things out of spite or revenge. just because humans act out of spite, people automatically assume that animals do too... they dont. they only react by instinct to the situations HUMANS put them in. there is either a) a medical problem like a UTI or something else, or b) he is scared to go in the room, and just can't hold it any more.
  7. ive never done a home built inspection, but have done a few salvage title inspections. i am fairly sure its the same inspection. for the salvage inspections they do not give a shit about safety or road worthiness. they do not really care about quality of workmanship either. that is not what they are inspecting. the inspection is to make sure that the parts/car are not stolen. http://statepatrol.ohio.gov/doc/Inspection_brochure.pdf
  8. so you put his litter box in a room that he is scared of, then you wonder why he pisses on the floor?
  9. increased patrols = increased revenue. its all about the benjamins.
  10. bump. make me an offer. i need to get these out of my garage.
  11. those pipes are nutso! ever get any flames shooting out of them?
  12. get a front bake on there so you can stop properly. other than that its pretty BA
  13. so i went ahead and ordered the weathertechs. should be here tomorrow.
  14. ok guys. i finally got the wheels out of storage. the tires are more worn than i thought. they will need replaced soon. they arent all the way to the wear bar, but they are damn close. also, there is some corrosion on the wheels, and one has some good scratches on it. given the condition, my original price is too high. the wheels are like 1000 brand new without tires... so since 3 need replaced, i should have just started there... then with the scratches and corrosion...im thinking i should have started at like 800 obo. i edited the price in my original post. idk... make me an offer. im open to negotiation. im open to trades too... tire size on them now is 305/40 22 pics here http://imgur.com/a/kWP1z#0
  15. yes there are tires. i think there are 3 continentals, and one falken. i believe the wheel size is 22x9.5 and the offset is +30. i want to say the tires are 285/35 22, but im not 100% on that. the wheels are in storage right now, i will be going over there today or tomorrow, and will get all the info off the wheels and tires, and will take detailed pics of each wheel and tire for you guys, and post it up.
  16. mamba m1 wheels. 22 inches. they have a 6x5.5 bolt pattern and will fit your tahoe, yukon, escalade, suburban 1500 etc. i think they may also fit on a tundra, nissan titan and a toyota FJ, but im not 100% on that. you could try one on to make sure though... $800 OBO http://i.imgur.com/2KLTz.jpg can have more pics this week if needed.
  17. i went to cartridge world a few times when i was in school. IIRC was cheaper to buy their cartridges than new. i think they can refill for you too... its been a while though.
  18. pickups plus, thats in hilliard right? i have not checked with them, but i definitely will. would be nice if i could pick them up locally, and not have to pay for the shipping
  19. thinking of getting some weathertech liners for my blazer... the stock mats and carpet are pretty nice, and i hate getting snow and mud on them... does anyone have any opinions on these mats or alternatives? ive seen husky mats online that seem very similar.... dunno how they really compare. just kind of weighing options before i pull the $180 trigger on the weathertechs...
  20. any bank or car dealership will have a notary. however, i doubt they will risk their commission, or worse, by notarizing your title without the seller present. pretty sure that's illegal too. i mean, for all they know you stole the title and forged their information. go back and find the seller. take him to the bank, and have it notarized.
  21. ive been in there hundreds of times and they have never been anything but courteous and helpful.
  22. in florida it costs something like 30 dollars. you have to pay it yourself. if you pass, the state pays you back. florida says the average recipient gets ~250 a month for 5 months. 30 people failed, so using the average, thats 37,500 they did not pay out... compared to the 210,000 they paid out to the 7000 people who DID pass... to me, spending 210,000 to save 37,500 does not seem like a good return on investment. like i said, im not saying its ok to buy drugs with state money or anything like that. im just saying that the drug testing costs more than it saves. these programs are often fed to the public under the guise of "saving money", which they do not do. if they are punitive in nature, then thats another story i guess... incidentally, the florida governor's wife owns the company that does the drug testing... so that probably has a lot to do with the true nature of why they push it so much.
