Twistedrx7
Well, it has been a long time since my engine blew on me for whatever reason back in november of 07. Now, The new engine is almost in and should be ready to start up this weekend. I am just waiting on my solid motor mounts so i can drop the engine in. I will have pictures up when i get a chance. Seems like forever since this thing has run.
2 Sweet
The new engine is almost in LS1? Seriously though, what's all done to the new engine? Is it the same as the factory rotary whatever the hell that was in there before? Sorry, I'm not a Mazda/rotary expert. Congrats on getting the car almost up and running
2 Sweet
I think they were called a 13B but not sure.....
Smokey
glad to see it's coming back together. Do you have any pics of the progress? You'll have to refresh my memory. Did you get your motor rebuilt by Rotary Resurrection? Stock rebuild or did you have any porting done? What seals did you use? Are you still going to run twins on it or did you change that as well? Twistedrx7
Update: Motor is in the car with all the wiring hooked up. The only thing holding me back is a power steering bolt that i was missing and my coil harness i just re did to make it work. I will drop those two things in tomorrow, put some fluids in and start her up. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/CIMG2536.jpg The UIM and LIM i just had sandblasted got a little dirty. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/CIMG2537.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/CIMG2538.jpg Anyone see the irony in this picture? http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/twistedrx7/CIMG2539.jpg
Smokey
glad to see the progress! I see you're sticking with the twins. You gonna spill the beans on the motor? Who did the rebuild? What seals did you use? Any porting, and if so who did it?

Michael J Fox did the port work...Im kinda iffy on how it turned out. Ms4 on the bottom end. you know the usual.
