cbustuner
Nitrous oxide permitted in all classes except Street Stock and All Motor. The use of any agents other than nitrous oxide as part of, or mixed with, this pressurized fuel system is strictly prohibited. All bottles must be securely mounted, stamped with minimum DOT- 1800-pound rating, and identified as nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide bottle(s) located in driver compartment must be equipped with a relief valve and vented outside of compartment. System must be commercially available and installed per manufacturer’s recommendations. Commercially available, thermostatically controlled blanket-type warmer accepted. Any other external heating of bottle(s) prohibited. Straight from the rule book.

Guest Hal
Paul, there is a blow down tube in my garage I think. You can have it if I find it. As far as I know, if the bottle is not in the passenger compartment (ie. in the trunk) you do not need a blow down.

Guest Removed
even in the truck, you need a firewall behind the back seat! (with no blow down tube) just remove bottom before you tech. put it back in before you head to the staging lanes...its that easy. i have been doing it for years

V8 Beast
If it's in trunk dont worry about it. If its in your back seat then definitley get one. As hot as it gets at the track you dont want to sit in the staging lanes inhaling giggle juice mixed with sulfer.
