nitrous tech?

Nitrous oxide permitted in all classes except Street Stock and All

Motor. The use of any agents other than nitrous oxide as part of, or

mixed with, this pressurized fuel system is strictly prohibited. All

bottles must be securely mounted, stamped with minimum DOT-

1800-pound rating, and identified as nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide

bottle(s) located in driver compartment must be equipped with a

relief valve and vented outside of compartment. System must be

commercially available and installed per manufacturer’s

recommendations. Commercially available, thermostatically

controlled blanket-type warmer accepted. Any other external

heating of bottle(s) prohibited.

yea gibberish lol english please? the question i guess isdo i need blow down tube if its in the trunk?

 

any sertain distance from anythign?

You will need the blow-off vavle and tube, about 35 for both.

does it have to be any certain place.... such as out side the vehicle.... if so i dont wan ot drill a hole in my car dammit lol you alll can make fun of me for askin dumb questions but i want to do ti safe an rigth the first time

Paul, there is a blow down tube in my garage I think. You can have it if I find it.

 

As far as I know, if the bottle is not in the passenger compartment (ie. in the trunk) you do not need a blow down.

Blow down through the floor. Don't think you have to have to have a blow down, but a good idea none the less.

even in the truck, you need a firewall behind the back seat! (with no blow down tube)

 

just remove bottom before you tech. put it back in before you head to the staging lanes...its that easy. i have been doing it for years

Remeber the whole I'm not mechanicly inclinned.... I'm gonna put all but the mounting of the sprayed in ym hardpipes goin into the throttle body is kinda makin me iffy ...I don't want to screw it up

Technically you need one but they never look at my bottle at ny tarck i have ever been to they done ever look to see if i have my BDT hooked up. but i have one. most of the time i jut set i on top of the bolt so it somewhat looks like i have it installed. youll alwy have thoes tech guys they will fail your for the smallest thing
