Tim Davis Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 Agree with the above, GR-2's are basically an oem equivalent. The KYB AGX work well but the GR-2's leave a lot to be desired. I'm running the GR-2's on my daily driven VW and wish I had waited to go a different route. I've heard a lot of good reviews on the Sensatracs, I may go with them next since I've put around 50K on the KYB's in the last two years. hpfiend Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 I have been told that kybs are only good for collecting rust at the bottom of a pond. I used to have them on my mustang and would agree. Monroe Sensacraps arent much better. Read about them on the corral. Get a set of tokico hp blues (and a minimum for any autox duty) they are pretty cheap and fantastic shocks compared to OEM. If you want a really nice competitive setup however buy my bilsteins and pair them with some h&r race springs (I already sold those)- they are very cheap for such little use..
