  1. Agreed, incredibly talented guy with years of experience. If you reach out to him, he may be able to combine it with another trip to this area. https://www.facebook.com/Killer-Designs-by-Darin-Allen-173261269271/
  2. From TDIClub.com I've worked with both John's and MoGolf in the past with good results, both for timing belt services. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Lucw8ALCkLtt79MMw9JOG1E_dX57-raBhbhIFdtHnEQ/edit?hl=en_US
  3. Same thing I was thinking depending on what they are. I also need a cup holder insert from the center console.
  4. With all of the members of the Ohio G/Z club that are local, I would think that you could likely hear any combination of what is available via the aftermarket. This way you could base your decision on sound and actual feedback from the owner's. That being said, you could also inquire with ZSpeedPerformance.com in Vandalia (Dayton), they stock many of the aftermarket systems that you could see first hand and likely save on shipping cost.
  5. I'm a regular at this event since it is actually more local to me. If I recall correctly, the upper level of the parking garage holds ~300 cars, when the weather is nice, it is full by 9:00am. Most start arriving by 8:00 and it starts to get crowded by 8:30. That being said, it generally starts to clear out early, usually between 9:30-10:00. It's a fun group with a diverse variety of cars/people.
  6. Agreed on the wheels, typically not noticeable until the wheel is fully exposed like this.
  7. Gas pumps belong to a friend in Cincy, he bought them restored last fall. He has the Sinclair in the pics and a Texaco pump. Both are glass top versions from the same era.
  8. That's funny on the mirrors, I don't mind the look of them but hate the functionality, or lack of. Been looking for stockers or a better alternative. Hopefully there's no need for a parts bike but you never know. Catching it up on maintenance right now. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it or sell to go to more of a sport/touring bike.
  9. Sold my last bike back in 2008 after riding for over 20 years. Finally decided to rejoin the world of riding so I started shopping about a month ago, was looking for a combo of a project and something fun to ride. I wasn't really shopping for a sport bike even though they are all that I have owned since the late 80's. Was looking for more of a sport/touring bike but I happened upon a deal on a Triumph 955i Daytona. The triples have always interested me and this seemed like a fun project. Doesn't look terribly dated and the triple sound and look are unique. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/13254403_797343377068067_8718986159964661704_n_zps4mjrp4xl.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/13254063_797343320401406_501835044009673697_n_zps9ye8yiqb.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/13327517_797343313734740_3582688165995727994_n_zpsntkwpxrc.jpg

  11. Antonio Calvo of Calvo Motorsports. Same car in the quarter:
  12. Great video, nice work Clay and Brian. Wish I could make it up more often.
  13. Nice work Mike, great looking subject matter as well. Wanna shoot an old Z? It would be like stepping back in time for you LOL.
  14. Great article and photography. Doug was so excited when he picked up the '31.
  15. Great looking car and photography! Couldn't help but wonder, does it have a Byers sticker on the back or not....

    WTB: Wii

We have one that my son doesn't play with anymore. $25 w/one controller.
  17. This. I had a similar incident with my GTI, since it was towed, it shows as a major accident. The person at fault had Geico which was a fight all the way through the process and I didn't pursue diminished value hard enough. It ended up costing me somewhere in the $2-3K range when I went to get rid of the car. Push hard for diminished value, it is not your fault that the car is now worth less.
  18. Very nice, hard to find a clean Z31, not to mention a Shiro.
  19. Very nice, congrats on the purchase!
  20. We started my son on a Suzuki Quadmaster 50 and then up to a LT80, as stated above, if you buy them right, you won't lose any money. I actually made money on both of them. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/Quadmaster50.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/LT80.jpg We tried dirt bikes too, not sure if we tried him on them too early or what but he preferred the quads and go karts. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/KTM.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/Jordies90cccart.jpg
  21. Amazing photography and car!
  22. I've had mixed luck with them, seems that if they are on a tender when sitting for long periods, they are fine. Typically once they go dead, they are done. If you decide to get one, buy it through Advance Auto on-line for in store pick-up. Use Code TRT40 or TRT41 to save $50, or google for the latest and best code. I bought my last one through Advance with $50 off and a $50 gift card towards the next purchase. You missed the April Promotion that Optima was running, a free Optima Tender with the purchase of a battery.
  23. Very sorry to hear Tim. Thoughts and prayers to you and those close to you.
