Copy and paste from my evom listing:

Okay I can't even believe I am posting this, but here goes....

Why is it for sale:

I have an opportunity that is going to require me to come up with some capital fairly quick, so selling the Evo might be my best bet. I am FIRM on the price. I don't HAVE to sell the car, honestly I hope to work out another option so I can keep it. If I come up with the money another way the car is off the market. If it doesn't sell in a few weeks I will just keep it.

What it is:

2003 Apex Silver Evolution VIII GSR all power, has sunroof and HIDs

60,XXX miles on the body

420 whp on the BR Mustang dyno, pump gas only (I will scan it when I get a chance) * also gets over 30 mpg when cruising on the interstate

Buschur Racing built 2.0 with 19K miles

AMS stage 3 head with dual valvesprings and 1mm oversize valves with 19k

AEM ems with 5 bar map, ait, and AEM uego wideband tuned by David Buschur @29psi on 93 octane

FP Red turbo ported by BR, has HP wastegate actuator with 1k miles on it

Hallman Pro MBC

Works o2 housing

Works downpipe

Noname resonator

B&B catback

BR RACE fmic

BR upper IC piping

Custom lower IC pipe

Ported exhaust manifold

Ported intake and throttle body

IX Bov

BR intake pipe with custom adapter to a 4" K&N filter and custom air induction

1000cc pte injectors

Walbro fuel pump

GSC 280 cams

BR mini battery

Tein springs

ACT clutch (I have an Exedy twin HD to go with it, see below)

Misc. stuff:

Black painted roof

Carbon fiber lip spoiler

Carbonfiber diamond badges

UK Evolution VIII badging

Tinted windows

Stewart Warner 40 psi boost guage

Blitz turbo timer

New plugs and wires

ARC exhaust manifold cover

Pioneer head unit

New Evo floormats

New Nitto NT555ZRs with about 2K miles on them

Extra stuff to go with the car:

WR9 turbo also has a FP HP wastegate actuator(no shaft play, around 19k miles)

Brand new Invidia 3" test pipe

stock ECU

a couple of different intakes

SS 02 housing

Exedy twin HD with about 1200 miles on the rebuild. Flywheel has a bad tooth, but I have a brand new one that will go with it.

New throw out bearing to go in with the Exedy

Tactrix cable

A couple new sets of NGK BPR8ES plugs

More about the car:

The car runs GREAT right now. I believe it has the power to crack a 10.9 on pump gas but the ACT is locking out at high RPMs. The Exedy comes with it, I just haven't had time to install it. The only bad things about the car are the front bottom lip has a couple broken clips (you can buy a new one for a couple hundred) and the sunroof goes up but sometimes hangs up when you put it back.

I drive this car every day to work, so I know it runs flawlessly and will not give you any problems. I do owe a small amount on the car, but I work at a dealership so I can run the sale through there so you do not have to worry about getting the title and you can get a temp tag to get home.

Every time I give someone a ride in the car they fall in love instantly. My friends are giving me a hard time for even considering selling it.

I probably left a few things out so I will update the post as I remember.

Again $23K FIRM

Nice car I am still in the market for an evo just one that is not modded and newer. If you have issues selling it try looking at the nada price and go from there, This car is going to take a special person to be able to buy it or be financed. Good luck with your car its beautiful.

thanks man, but I need the $$ to buy another property and need it quick if it's going to happen.

That is why I didn't part it out and make more money.

I know NADA on it. I feel it's a steal at this price, and if it doesn't sell no big deal. I know noone will be able to finance the whole thing but if someone intends on modding one anyways this could save them a ton!

NADA retail is $19,475.

The car easily has $20k worth of mods.

NO NO I agree with you its worth every penny, I know parts are not cheap ect, but I went through the same thing with cars. Good luck someone will be getting a wonderful fast evo! I did not mean to offend you , I ment more like watch out for the lowballers .

No offense taken :)

I really thought that at this price it would sell right away. I don't know if the economy is really THAT bad, or if no one is in the market for an already built Evo.

A few people have wanted it, but they wanted to finance the whole amount which isn't going to happen. Anyone wanting to finance it would probably need around $3k down. I could even arrange financing for the remaining $20k through a bank through my dealership.

Im not sure I check the evo sites often and it seems its hard to sell anything now days. I know for a fact my next car is an evo but im just not into buying such a modded car. I am already approved for x amount through my own finacing but im really picky in color and year. Good luck it will sell just have to wait .
