Said if we are barely under 11.5's he wouldn't see it being too much of a problem, but if we are running 9's it's going to be an issue. Taking a 2007 Corvette designed to go 197 mph with side/front airbags and roll over protection low 9's @ 159 Or driving the car on the street with a 10 point cage so if I get into an accident I have the potential to hit my head on a steel bar that is surrounding my head. With that said, I am getting a 10 point cage this winter so I can go to these events with out any problems. Plus the cage will stiffen the chassis more and give the car more consistant launches.
