  1. I had an Amish guy do mine. Put up a 36x48 with 6” of concrete in 3 days. PM me if you want his info and/or want to come look at it. He was the cheapest and was recommend by the place I ordered the barn from. Really does great work!!
  2. Looking to get help with a couple items at work. 1. Migrating one SQL database to another server. 2. Then repointing an access program to that new server 3. Intergrating a new phone server into Access.(VBA) Our old server is already integrated and it’s by the same makers, but the code is still a touch different and beyond my abilities. That pretty much covers it. I’ve not had the best luck trying to find companies to help, I think I know more than they do, and I don’t know anything. The guy we use to use is too busy with his own business and can’t make time for it. Let me know if you or someone you know can handle these. Jason
  3. Depending on the type of tire, can check CarlyleRacing too. Not huge markups on tires, but he’s a supporting member on the site. Worth a call!
  4. Another great point. The suit you see on the boat is the suit you see under water. Get a colored suit and your partner might mix you up with someone else.
  5. It’s probably a combination of things. Doesn’t show dirt as much. Absorbs more light, possibly help you stay a little warmer. Bright colors may attract fish to you on reefs. Black also hides your body better. Let’s be honest most people that can afford to scuba are not in peak physical shape, myself included, blacks gonna hide those lines better. Or simple supply and demand. Not much demand for color suits and the ones they have made sit on racks and don’t get reordered. I got black because it was the only color available.
  6. Every CR track day I’ve ever been to, I made as many passes as I wanted. Didn’t matter if it was street tires or slicks. also fwiw, many people wouldn’t go at all if there wasn’t a slick lane. I’m bringing 3-4 cars and I wouldn’t go. PITA to get the cars to the track just to spin.
  7. The flares look better in person, but far from good. I looked into finding a better skinny solution that didn’t have them tucked so far in, but anything would require a spacer and longer wheel studs. Plus when the wheels are tucked in, it does throw less rocks down the side of the car. So, I’ll just deal with it.
  8. That was probably me. I think I saw you, had a couple kids in the back of your Mustang? Just finished bedding the new break pads. The stock ones were out of control with the break dust.
  9. Indeed! Will be close, but I’m hoping to have all the crap done to it. Will probably be the cars first trip to the track with all the mods. Fat chance of an 8 second pass, but I’m sure going to try! I’m also going to yank about 250-300#s off the Hellcat. Full interior it’s best is 9.67@141 in 800DA. We’ve got it doing consistent 9.70s@143 in 2500DA. Better DA, 300 pounds shaved off. Hoping for low 9s.
  10. I will tell you these cars drive themselves and are really easy to control. Key is to have a good set of tires and not be an idiot if you lose traction. But that’s true even if the car has 400hp. As far as weight reduction, there really isn’t a lot you can do sadly. I’ve done a bunch of research on this as I want to lighten up the Hellcat and the Demon, and there certainly isn’t any cost effective ways. $2200 for new rotors to save 22#, $700 for a battery to save 30#. Your standard stuff like lighter weight rims, once piece carbon fiber drive shaft and that’s where it stops. The suspension pieces aren’t heavy, nobody makes a different engine cradle that could possibly save 100# like the older cars. It’s just a heavy car. Gotta make up for that with power! Mush is a good guy, talked to him at Challenger Fest. He’ll probably put on a 2.5 pulley next or a different lower. That will give him another 100hp and should be knocking on 8s. That’s my plan. 2.65/Lower/E85 and cut all the weight I can. My hope is 8.90’s and drive it too and from the track. Oh... transbreak is a gimmick. Completely useless.
  11. Best of the day was a 10.50@130 on the Demon. I was expecting a 10.4, so that’s pretty darn close. I went low 9’s@150+ 10 years ago with a street car and the care level is about the same. Some tracks care more than others. Some are more willing to let you slide if it’s a private event/track rental. Some don’t want you running out the 1/4 mile, are ok with 1/8th mile hits. Just don’t light the score bored up below 11.50s. Some consider a tire change not stock. Goal is to get that Demon to 8.99 this year and maintain 100% streerablity like the wife’s Hellcat. Her car is Full Interior, Audio etc... You’d never know driving around what it can do. My guess is most tracks won’t have any part of that though. You’re just not seeing a lot of these cars smashing into walls. Tire tech, automotive tech has come so far. I actually think it’s more unsafe having cars run on the track in street tires. Would you rather a Hellcat run 11.0 on those tiny radials because it’s bone stock, or that same car run a 10.2 with DR and a few mods? I’ll take the car with Drag Raidals all day.
  12. Here are our cars a few days ago. Hellcat was flying considering the DA. Demon did about what we expected on the factory nittos. Plan is to put some ETstreet R’s and some skinnies on it for the next trip. Should pick it up considerably!!! We can’t do anything to it till the Crate computer comes in, then the real fun will begin! https://www.facebook.com/carlyleracing/posts/1859171770802441
  13. That’s pretty awesome. My beagles can catch a rabbit once in awhile, but it takes them a couple hours! Lol. I’d say the bird is slightly more effective!
  14. Worst plate I ever had was “UR VIEW”. I couldn’t count the number of people that asked “what if the person is in front of you?” I’m like well, I do I don’t have a front plate so....
  15. Oh, on the topic of off topic.... you should absolutely have to have a license to drive a motorhome on public roads. I consider myself a damn good driver but giving the keys to someone to drive a 45’ motor home without having ever driven one is ridiculous. If not a license, then a class. For the first 3000 miles it was a challenge to say the least. I literally couldn’t believe it. I would have paid for a class, but none were offered. Back to the Tesla. What’s more unreal 8.9 1/4 mike or a 650 mile range. Wow! I hope they can master quick charging. It would probably take 12 hours to charge it.
  16. What is there to discuss? There are already laws against everything this car and nearly every car produced today can do. My wife’s Acadia can roast the tires from a stop light and cruise down the road over 100mph. How does a 840hp demon or a 8.9 Tesla change that. My wife’s car is a 9.67 Hellcat. Does that mean she should have a special license to drive it on the road? Maybe you’ve never driven something faster than a minivan, but just because a car is fast doesn’t mean it has to be driven like that. If someone wants to drive like an idiot there is no license that’s going to stop them. So what license do you think is going to help prevent drivers from doing stupid shit? So in your incentives model. You are proposing more government employees to set up standards testing and driving courses, in addition to class training. Then someone can take a test that somehow proves they have the ability to drive a car with XXX hp. The incentive is Lower insurance rates. So a person paying 200k for a car cares about saving $100 a month. That’s your idea? Seems like a whole lot of tax payer money and time that’s going to produce no result. And let’s say that it does... so the entire public should pay for these additional employees?? Or does their cost get split over the 5000 cars that are sold that fit a arbitrary discriptipn of what’s too fast? Requiring a driver to learn how to handle a 60,000lb pay load that’s 80’ long on public roads is teaching someone how to work. So I guess you won’t be taking an Uber anytime soon, they don’t have the licenses or qualified drivers to get you from point A to B, constantly hearing about all those Uber crashes and their untrained drivers. Oh wait.... I’ve given my .02 cents that nobody but you read. You’ve said yours, feel free to respond, and I’ll have no problems taking the argument to you on private message or dinner. My intention wasn’t necessarily to get anybody’s panties in a bunch. I just think big gonvernment isn’t the answer.
  17. That was my thinking. I can’t believe they had it on there. Maybe it’s like that so the owner can easily remove it the day he takes delivery. It’s pretty ugly
  18. Omg.. all this talk of don’t need, why would someone want or need this. People should have to pass a test to own one. I mean seriously? Reading this from the columbusracing family is even more shocking. You all want to bitch and moan about the 20 people per year that die in street racing accidents per year, just like the left wants to bitch about all the mass shootings deaths and do away with guns. Same exact people that want to legalize marijuana(which I don’t care) but won’t say a single word about the 60,000 people a year that die from second hand smoke. Im just saying, everybody wants to live their life their way, who are we to continually say what they should and shouldn’t do. Ok onto the car. What an awesome machine. Only fear I have is that all super cars go this same direction. There is simply no arguing the benefits of electric cars.
  19. I just want this gun to go bang. It hard enough rabbit hunting with a handgun. Much less when it doesn’t fire. I’ll call some of the places above. Thanks
  20. Have had this gun about 4 years and it’s been nothing but trouble. I can’t believe I haven’t given up. The firing pin barely makes contact with the primer and it fails to fire and nobody can seem to fix it. Purchased it used from Cabelas(can’t find them new) and it didn’t work. Took it back in and rabbit season was over, so didn’t try to shoot it again till the following year. Same problem. Ordered a new spring for it, put it in and the trigger pull was like .1#. Just not safe. Sent it to E aruthr Brown co, supposedly they are awesome with these.... false. Get the gun back and click, nothing happens, exact same problem. They want me to ship it back pay $65 an hour and I’m not doing that. It’s ridiculous.. Long story short, any good gun smiths that can get this thing working?
  21. I had a GTR, really didn’t care for it. Sold it after a couple months. Was an awesome ride, but was just boring. Hellcat feels like a special car when you drive it. Hard to explain. Drive both, one will speak to you!
  22. She’ll drop the one off at school in it. The kids love it lol. She doesn’t drive it too often anymore because some ass threw gum on it at Polaris mall. 2.65 upper and 90% lower
  23. Yep. Any step past this is a lot of money and will probably lose all its street ability. Transmission is like 10k on these. Just not worth it imho.
  24. Carlyle Racing really hit a home run on this build. Pullies, E85, 3.09 gears, intake and headers. Car is good for 9.6-9.7 regardless of the temps, pending it gets traction. Even poor 60’s it’s good for 9.9s. We basically hot lapped it at the dragway 42 track day. Just taking the opportunity to tune it as much as possible. Probably made 20 passes between 10.10-9.67. Off the trailer we drove it around the track just to get the car heat soaked, because it prefers being hot. Doubt anything else will get done to it. It’s my wife’s car and she’s more than happy with where it’s at. Maybe if a good tranny tune comes around or the demon transbreak. Both would probably have it in the 8s or darn close without tearing the car apart. Only cause we could actually spray it.
