Need to borrow: 360 xfer cable/disc

Since I bought it, my Xbox 360 sometimes throws an "E68" code, which is resolved by reseating the HDD.

 

Microsoft is sending me a replacement unit, but said I need the transfer cable and CD for the data copy. Does anyone have one I can use? Thanks.

I've never heard of either of those two things. So they are sending you a new xbox, or a new HDD?

 

Oh wait, so you need something to get the data from one HDD to the other, I get it now. I didnt know they had those. I figured you'd just be SOL

Just the HDD.

 

Yes, that's how when you upgrade to a bigger HDD or replace a working, crapping out one, you keep all of your data intact.

what size hdd do you have, i have a transfer kit but i think it only works with the 20GB unless there is an update for the software
