HotCarl Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 Guys the JPMorgan buyout of WaMU, has been in the works for well over a year, I have a friend that works for WaMU and he told me about the buyout More than 6 months ago. Remember when Chase bought Bank one? I don't believe that was because of failure, banks buy other banks, it's what they do. True Story. JPMorgan aquired BankOne when they were doing just fine financially. This is great news for my mom who does project work for corporation's and bank's. The more merger's the more business. Oh and its not like over night all WaMu branches will become Chase branches. This process will take years. There are still some internal screens at Chase that say 'bank one' on them.
