TimTaylor751647545500
Went to my home town for a visit this weekend and caught up with some old friends. My one friend drove his Saleen #185 and I snapped a few shots. Very clean car and fairly quick as well. He's planing on adding a SC as well as a brembo kit down the road. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/cars/DSCN6660.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/cars/DSCN6663.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/cars/DSCN6661.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/cars/DSCN6662.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/cars/DSCN6664.jpg

Sparky
I thought they were supercharged stock? My buddy's girlfriend has one and her's is blown.. S/C'd is an option. I cant say Im all that impressed with the new style saleens. Ive loved all the other bodies but it is seriously lacking style in the front end especially. SpaceGhost
Can't believe it is 2008 and you still don't have auto climate control in a Mustang. Especially a Saleen. I swear the same Climate controls are in my friends 94 ranger.
Wonderboy
I believe there are 3 stages on these, appearance, suspension, and POWER! But, I may be wrong.

TimTaylor751647545500
Yeah, this is the 3V version.
Scotty2Hotty
Yeah, this is the 3V version. All S197's are 3V motors (To include all Saleen S281 cars thus the 281 meaning 281ci) They stopped producing the S351 That was a monster of a car for the $$$. John Bruh
Non SC FTL But those 3V motors can make a LOT of power

You know it doesn't even cross my mind to look at other cars. I'm kind of hung up on Chevys, looks like I may have to look elsewhere soon. How any car that cost that much today doesn't have at least climate control, let along dual climate control astounds me. Awaits Audi's are gay comments...come on I know you got em. No I'm not an Audi fan, but they are nice cars. I have just always liked the ease of modding on a Chevy, parts are plentiful and cheaper than most. If I wasn't screwing with a Chevy I'd likely look into an Evo or a WRX.

I agree with you for the most part. For 99% of them, doing simple stuff is like pulling teeth. However, on the A4 2.0T everything is really easy for the most part. It's a longitudinally mounted 2.0 I4. Talk about room vs most any other audi. Its like the old I5 20V Days again. 2.7T = You'd rather rip out your own ball hair then change turbo's ect.
