Dr. Apex
I've noticed a few small stains on my LCD that don't come off with just a duster. I'm weary about using any chemicals on the screen and Toshiba's response is to of course take it to an authorized service center for cleaning. Suggestions?? I know a number of people on here have them, what do you do??
ForeverMaker
LCD wet wipes. Can be found at office stores, target, etc. You can also try water with a 100% cotton cloth. Always remember to wipe the same way (up and down or left to right) and never use a swirling pattern.

Dr. Apex
So a mop with bleach would work best?? I'll look for those wipes, thanks.
TheHaze
I use LCD wipes as well. I got them at Best Buy and they came with a solution spray, duster thing and wipe holder.
evan9381
my new tv said only to use wipes made for LCD screen. something about the anti-glare coating on the front can come off easily if you use shit like windex or similar

Dr. Apex
^Kenny's just trying to help, he just goes about it a little differently than most people...lol. Evan, that's what I was worried about as I've been told LCD screens are delicate and I don't want to ruin my brand new $700 tv!!

ImUrOBGYN
I have this gel spray you shake and spray and then wipe with a very, very soft chamois cloth it came with. I'm sure anyplace that sells the tv's will have a cleaning solution. My cleaning kit came free with the tv when it was bought at Best Buy. (Along with one of their $500 massaging, w/ottoman reclining chairs. )
