Stampede
When I stop at a light, the heater will start to blow cold air. Radiator is full, I have or aleast tried to remove any air pockets, and I just changed both thermostats. The top radiator hose is hot, the bottom hose is alot cooler. One question I have is, does the spring go into the head, cone pointing to the hose or is it the other away around? And what else could my problem be? Thanks. Guest Removed
spring goes in head...there should only be 1 t-stat tho.the lower is more then likely cold due to the fact that the t-stat is not open yet. what you need to do is check both hose going in and out of the heater core. if both are hot when its blowing cold air the heater core is plugged up, maybe a flush will help, but if it real bad it will need replaced.
