Prices that high will continue to force new technology so we're not reliant on a limited supply, fossil fuel that we don't control and have to buy from people that hate us.

where does the revenue for new technology come from when the economy slows down with a major factor being high oil prices?

 

We've obviously had this discussion before. There is no reason we can't have cheap oil and research if we developed our own resources.

 

Its' a dead horse, I know.

 

The whole point of the op was to point out that Iraq couldnt give two shits about what is good for us. They seem to just want to fall in line with all the other OPEC jackasses.
