blue98ls1 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Share Posted December 15, 2008 Moving and need to get rid of some of my projects. 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L- 85k original miles. Needs the transmission rebuilt or replaced. I did a few tests on the car and determined it to be the transmission pump that failed. It will not move in any gear, but does shift out of park. Will need to be towed. Has a custom exhaust. Nice body, no rust. Needs repainted or buffed to bring the shine back on the sides of the car. Someone had lightly sanded it to repaint the body. We buffed the front and it brought back about 80% of the shine, a better buffer would probably bring back a lot more. Interior is in really good shape, very little cracking on the seats. They look almost new in the front. The back of the passenger seat needs put back on though. Previous owner had installed an in-dash dvd player and screen in the back of the passenger seat head rest. I replaced the dash and headrest, just didnt get a chance to finish putting the seat back together. There is no radio currently installed in the car. I can give you a stock radio for it if you want it. Most people usually upgrade the stock radio though as it really isn't that great. Few trim pieces in the trunk need put back together as well. All parts are in the car to do so though.
