I need someone to look at an 02 mustang v6. I believe that the exhaust manifold gaskets need replaced. This is for a friend who needs it done asap. Must be a shop that can warranty their work. No home fixes.

nope.. its ur exhaust manifold... the welds are bad. a lot of people on 3.8mustang.com have had this problem. i believe its just a defect from ford. its the weld at the very bottom of you exhuast manifold where they bolt up to the Y-pipe. mine did it too. i just bought longtubes about a week ago but before i had thoes i had the stock exhuast manifolds. i replaced the passanger side about 4 months ago and the leak was fixed.. my dirver side just recently started making noise but i just replaced that one with the LT's. you have 2 options. you can take your stock headers to a shop and have them welded or you can buy new ones. i bought new ones from advanved auto. it was $100 with a new gasket. took about 2 hours to get the old one off and the new one on. 614 560 1255.. you can call me if you have any questions
