HotCarl
What will be the guns primary use ? Does it have to be a 1911 ? Personally I always recommend Glock. I have not yet had a bad experience with a Glock to date, countless rounds fired. Though its hard to beat the reliability, and easy of use of a revolver. Ive got to agree here. I thought I was compromising on buying a glock but after seeing all the other options other people brought to my CCW class I was happy with the selection I made. Glocks make a great first gun, easy to shoot and VERY easy to break down and clean. Ive heard 1911's can be a bitch to break down (just what Ive heard, ive never had ANY experience doing so). But honestly if you have 500-600 to spend there's a huge market to choose from, just dont waste your money on a Hi-Point Let us know what you pick up.
