kirks5oh Posted December 31, 2008 Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 apparently, many people here in tampa light off fireworks on new year's eve as the ball drops. little gypsy firework stands have popped up on every street corner like cockroaches. i decided to get in on the action and get some mortar shell kits, whistler bottle rockets, 25 shot saturn missles, roman candles, black cat firecrackers, and of course some sparklers, and spark fountains for my girls to watch. i hadn't bought fireworks in 15 years, and was surprised to spend less than $50--and most everything was buy 1 get 1 free. happy new years. Saudi Arabia already started their New Years celebration and with their holidays lately they have been lighting off fireworks like crazy.
