Sco0terzsl
did the $800 include your plane tickets? No it did not, that was an additional $300 that I had to spend since work screwed me over on my days off. I was supposed to have the Friday before off and the Monday after off so I could drive down there. Bastards. Nice.I took the kids on a Disney Cruise 4 years ago.Best vacation ever.I recommend cruising to everyone and look forward to going again without the kids.Beautiful pics, miss the beaches and blue water. I hear ya, I miss it already. But I guess that's a good thing since now I am actually working on the honeymoon earlier than I was planning. Sorry for the semi-thread jack, but where are you going in England? I was just there this summer. Back on topic, thanks to the OP for the responses and information concerning the cruise, prices, etc. I might have missed you comment on this already, but did they have gambling available on the boat? Yes it did, Deck 3 had a casino with tables and slots and such. I learned on my 21st birthday that I should never gamble because I tend to lose too much money so when my friends went to the casino, I just went to the bar. ZoomZoom6
I just got back from that cruise TODAY. Liberty of the Seas to be exact (Freedom of the Seas' sister ship)...fun trip
unfunnyryan
I've been to St Maarten before. When the big jets take off, you can hang on to the fence next to the runway and you will wave like a flag. Jet exhaust also does not smell good and stings your eyes a little. Nitrousbird
Picture 15 is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. Always wanted to go on a cruise, heard it's something that everyone should treat themselves to at least once. A cruise is a must-do item. They can be had on the cheap too. I went on one about a year ago; got a decent room for about $380/each for my g/f (now wife) and I for 5 nights. Spent another $250 on the boat. We drove down to FL to get on there, as we visted a friend down there for a few days before the cruise. Awesome food, tons of stuff to do. We his the sushi bar every night before dinner; that was great! You have to go on there planning to pack on a couple of pounds. We went to Key West, which was awesome since we knew someone there and got the local tour. Also went to Nassau, which kind of sucked. The boat was awesome enough to hang out on; I'd do a cheap cruise to no where even!
smokin5s
dude, what kind of camera did you use? Getting night shots to look good is something that I've always had issues with... I tried throwing money at it and getting the Nikon 40D camera, but I still suck at dark shots.

Hehe yeah 5D isn't a consumer grade camera. Well it can be depends if your using it with a crappy $200 lens or something.
