87GT
It took 2 tries to get my car started today before work. Man she was pissed at me after the engine started. She made the most loud and angry growl for at least 2 minutes while warming up. I don't blame her it was fucking cold today. It was so cold I drove to work in hat and gloves, heat on full blast, and I still couldn't feel my toes or fingers the whole 25 minute drive. So how was your trip to work today? Casper
Mine took a little longer to start. I really didn't think it was going to start. Then when it did, same horrible growling noise for a few minutes.
CRed05
This morning the battery give me a little bit of shit. Almost didnt have enough juice to crank over and I park in the garage. Im just hoping she starts after sitting outside all day with the wind blowing right onto the front end of my car

Mr. Jones
So how was your trip to work today? 1. Enter garage which is significantly warmer than outside thanks to the fact that the furnace was running for a while in there yesterday. 2. Car turns over instantly like usual and purrs like a kitten on a lap. 3. Begin to feel seat heater working. 4. Browse Sirius channels while car idles for a moment. 4. Enjoy spirited jaunt to work. Guest tbutera2112
went to move my probe...took a solid 10 seconds to start with the key turned... just had to move it across the street... the tire was flat, and i think the tranny fluid was messed up from being so cold... it was hard to put into gear, and when i tried driving it the car would rev but it wouldnt go anywhere... shifted to 2nd and it started crawling then stopped... shifted into third *im going like 5mph* and the whole car is shaking because its bogging so bad, but it finally crept the last few feet to its parking place

SRTurbo04
Ahh well my srt4 started right up like it was nothing an warmed up quick.....an it sits out all nigt Now my 1991 ranger that's another story it would barely crank over (had plent of battery) it was just so dam cold everytime it cranked I swear heard a voice saying fuck you, I hate you, screwwww you asshole.. Haha Finaly got it started an it barely wanted to stay running. Let it idel for 15 minuites an it took another 15 minuites for it to drive right, it would just spit an spudder down the road ... ahhh dam that truck ha. Oh an the heater only works in that truck when its moving so was cold as ballllls
Mr. Jones
Oh your stick is easy to move when it is freezing balls? Not saying it is the same as when it is 80 degrees out, but nothing that I would post about lol. Mine came from the factory prepared for cold weather conditions. Funny story though: The GF's Escort has this problem when it gets really cold the door latch will bind and you won't be able to close the door again until it heats up. (we keep it greased and such and a little loose to combat this). Guy @ work last night comes back in from a break all pissed off because his 2008 ford truck is doing the same thing. Apparently not much has changed 1999 - 2009. Probably the same latch.
87GT
My driver door in my cavalier has been screaming at me since it has got so cold. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe is what it does when I open or close it. I need to lube it up when it warms up. Oh and my window is frozen shut. Car turns over instantly like usual and purrs like a kitten on a lap. Gloves? Not needed! 3. Begin to feel seat heater working, change to setting one as my ass begins to sweat. 4. Browse CDs to find Tower of Power, insert, track #13 "WHAT IS HIP" 4. Enjoy spirited jaunt to work.
