Kevin R.
Once again, you guys are mixing up the words FLAT and MATTE just like Kevin said before. MATTE you will be able to take care of in the same way as regular clear coat. It is still clearcoated and protects in a similar fashion. FLAT is a can of primer, and no, you cannot take care of it properly.

Main3s
I see FLAT or MATTE becoming the next "murdered out" trend, it's too bad thought, because I really like it.

Clifford Automotive
Custom mix I can get it. I would just need a sample. When I get back to the shop Ill see what I can find out. My supplier might be able to make a phone call and get a mix for it.
Guest 614Streets
I talked with my brother and Basf now has a flat clear specifically made for matte finishes to give that murdered out look. I can get a firm price but figure around 160 a gallon in the R-M line and around $225 a gallon in the Glasruit line.
Guest 614Streets
In the r-m diamont line the clear number is dc5750 spray it over a base of your choice . Solvent borne or water borne. Also avail in a low voc
