excell
Estimates are starting to place the number of disclosed records at 100,000,000 - that's 100 million.
Smokey
wow. So if I'm reading it correctly only account numbers were compromised and not any sort of personal information correct? I looked thru the first link and the 2008breach link but couldn't find any way of telling if I would have had contact with one of those systems. Is there some way to tell if I would have interacted with Heartland Payment systems as a third party to my regular activities? (I would obviously remember if I had something setup thru them directly)
Lustalbert
Wonder if this had anything to do with the mystery $490 charge on my card from paypal.... Chase did a good job of correcting it, less than 24 hours all was set right.

excell
It appears only the credit card number, name(s) on the card, and expiration date on each record is compromised.
