If they would have followed the four safety rules, or hell just one of the four safety rules (always check and double check to make sure it's empty) before pulling the trigger, this wouldn't have happened. At least it sounds like they followed one of the other rules (don't point it at something you don't intend to destroy) otherwise it would have been a shot to the face. Back of the head, don't you remember how the book (movie?) ended? Ditto though, they have no buisness using anything more dangerous than a starting pistol.
