Alex L.
They own the 6spd IRS record now. I think they are going to go for the IRS world record now, potentially with the use of a Ford 9".
Fubar231
Thats fucking amazing. Supras ftw, well more like 2jzs...

So they are using a Ford 9" (Solid rear) to go after the IRS record? That makes sense.

kenny
So they are using a Ford 9" (Solid rear) to go after the IRS record? That makes sense. They cut the axle tubes and added flanges, making it bolt into a stock location on a Supra. Guest Removed
http://ttcperformanceproducts.com/boloirsfo9co.html Regular price: $7,999.00 Sale price: $6,799.00 and for that i dont see axles either. you can build a bullet proof solid axle for 1/2 that edit. i forgot its a supra so 7g's is like buying a air filter to those guys

rl
So its using a 9" center. Thats a lot of work to say you did something that at the end of the day means nothing.

Alex L.
Yes, they're using a 9" pumpkin with IRS axles.....sorry, I forgot to specify. Here is a pic of the setup that they are thinking about using: http://www.boostlogic.com/xcart/image.php?type=D&id=24 http://www.boostlogic.com/xcart/image.php?type=D&id=25 It's an expensive setup, but it's one that will yield amazing results. Yes, they could go faster with a drag auto, but as Kenny said, that's not their goal. They're out to shock the world by doing it in a 6-spd car. And if $7k is pocket change to we Supra guys, how come my dad and I aren't constantly buying high-dollar parts for our car? SW is a rare example of someone who has worked hard enough throughout his life and earned enough cash to be able to afford anything that he could ever desire. Saying that all Supra owners can afford to just throw thousands of dollars around like it's nothing is an extremely gross generalization. ohioko4s4
The 9" is being tested in BL's glide car, not SW's 6 sp. And it's nowhere near $6800.
Alex L.
I stand corrected.
