97 30th anniv. Camaro info needed

I have a cash+Camaro offer on the Chevelle. The car is a 30th anniversary RS Camaro. Are these cars all LT1s? Were there V6 versions? These worth any more than a regular 97?

 

EDIT - this car is black. Weren't they all white?

ALL '97 were 30th cars, celebrating the '67 Camaro. They all came with headrests and a dash plaque that says "30th Anniversary". V6 or V8, and no, they're not worth more because they're all the same.

 

Now, you do have the 30th Anniversary Edition Z28 and SS, which were white with orange stripes. This was a special package and these cars are worth a little more than their brethren of that year.

 

RS = V6 with Sport Appearance Package. Nothing more.

Ahh, hence why he repeatedly avoided the question of "Is your car V6 or V8?"

 

Here's the catch. His offer is for the exact amount I have in the Chevelle PLUS his 97 RS. Need to do a little more thinking.

No, no RS package car was a V8. It was a V6 with a factory body kit and RS badges.

 

However, I would do this to take the cash, then turn around and sell the car for profit. You can probably get $3-4k out of it if it's in good condition.
