Radio Flyer1647545514
The power place where you put the cigarette lighter in my car went out yesterday. I dropped a dime in there and sparks popped out of it and it won't give any power to my ipod connector or cell phone charger. Do I need a new fuse? Guest tbutera2112
probably... check the fuse panel or owners manual and find out which fuse, pull it and check it

Radio Flyer1647545514
Funny thing is my owners manual is in my glove box and a cop broke it while searching my car so I have no access to it. Anywhere online you can get owners manuals in .pdf?

Trouble Maker
Fuses are relatively cheap are they not? I may just go through and replace them all. And you can see when fuse is blown. Pull one out and look at it from the side. In a good one you will see a piece of metal, usually in an s shape. In a bad one you will see the same thing but the metal will be 'broken' and there will usually be some black stuff in there. Just like it 'blew up.' A lot of times you can take the plastic cover off that covers up the fuses. And there will be a map like gearhead posted with names or often very shortened names of what they power. Like cig lghtr or something like that.

Radio Flyer1647545514
I'm pretty sure my fuses are just like regular fuses you would grab for newer cars but I'm not positive. I just hate listening to CD's. I hopefully have a box of them sitting out in the garage.
