Guest Removed
i think thinking about it, and wondered how cheap could one get away with doing this? something like this http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/gearhead559/Shop%20stuff/turbocavalier-1.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/gearhead559/Shop%20stuff/turbocavalier-2.jpg i know we covered this here before but, what about getting the oil back to the engine. would i need a small tank and a pump? or just a pump? tryying to do this on the cheap. also wondering about how big of a turbo to keep my eye out for? Cordell
There seem to be a few too many drawbacks to this method for me. Mostly just the oiling requirements, and it being more exposed to dirt, and other shit. Besides the cooling of the exhaust by the time it gets back there would hurt it's velocity. Just my opinion, but I doubt I'll ever own a turbo anyway.
nuinqua
I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but this has also been on horsepowertv... http://www.ststurbo.com They also have applications for carburetors.
brent1976
Good for the strip, but way to much lag for dd. Plus very unreliable oiling systems.

Good for the strip, but way to much lag for dd. Plus very unreliable oiling systems. thats what im worried about. lag is not a issue. the oiling system is

Guest 614Streets
Whats so complicated about the oiling system , can you not run a dedicated system in the trunk area with a tranny cooler and mini fan with an electric oil pump and regulator?
