BIGGU
dont these cars have the same motor as a mk 4 supra? The tubro motor that is? the car in stock form comes with a NA 2jz-GE for the sc300 or the 1ufze for a sc400 model. so yea its the same as a supra just non turbo. 1jz-gte is the motor that actually came in the car stock in japan but in the US it was pulled for a more "luxury" motor. shanton as far as a cage im probably going to do the Autopower bolt in cage and just weld it together as the cage will still be SCCA, NASA and Formula D certified. Id just like the ability to remove the cage if needed for what ever reason and if there is a accident and the cars frame is compromised i can transfer the cage to the new chassis without a lot of money. Miller
That's awesome man good luck, I dig the look too. I saw some of Tinmans work personally on Joe's old FC and everything looks like stack of fucking dimes. No question he is among one of the top in the area. Now getting an appointment with the guy is the part that could be troublesome.

Thanks, that was the idea of doing it that way. only thing that really sucks is that its not very visible but its only a boost gauge for now. ill be getting rid of it for a wideband. the boost controller is the same thing, hidden in original ash tray location so it can be covered/hidden. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/winter%2008/IMG_2414.jpg
starkmaster03
Make sure you lubricate the bushings. I just put all new poly bushings (Enging cradle, control arms, ball joints and tie rods) in the Fiero and did not lube them and now it squeaks with the slightest movement in suspension. I just have to go back with a needle to fix it.

spankis
Random, but do you have a how-to on cutting the homelink into the visor without destroying it? I've got one and have been too scared to ruin my perfect visor cutting it up....
BIGGU
Random, but do you have a how-to on cutting the homelink into the visor without destroying it? I've got one and have been too scared to ruin my perfect visor cutting it up.... it was pretty simple to do, I started a cut along the top part of the visor then slowly pull it apart and the seam will open. find where you like it mounted, there isn't alot of space so where i mounted it was just enough. Place the transmitter box on the visor foam and trace it with something. make sure it not backwards, double check it, you don't want to have to buy a new visor. then just cut and fit the transmitter inside the visor foam. Then i sewed it up with a needle and transparent plastic thread. if done right it would look almost factory.

BIGGU
looks good man, i know your always gonna be at kilkare, but what other events are you gonna do around here? I do most events at kilkare as were sponsoring them to run (were as in Ohiodrifting.com) but i will be doing a few events at beaver run, few events in Camden ohio at the cart track, Probably 1-2 in Indy at their new airport, 1 at drift a palooza which will be at the mansfield airfield as they will be teaming up with Red bull air race and maby a event in PA at the oval. dfresh285
nice, ill try to make out to the kilkare events, as im hoping my lil bro gives me some seat time in his kouki which should be finished up by the end of the month. i know brooks will be at all those events as well, but do we know how much chris balthis is committing to this season? coltboostin
Tinman is THE man. And Shanton-they make poly front stuff. The FIRST Thing you need to do is get the rear steer eliminator-it WILL kill you when the car squats (an then steers) with big power. Im sure brooks will be at everything if he can along with me, he usually is on my 2 car trailer or chris is. As far as i know chris picked up his car sunday from forced fab and hes planning on being out and about as much as possible.
