verse
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/01/25/teen_goalie_designs_pads_to_trick_shots/ Basically the kid patented a design for goalie pads so they have double stitching in them to look like a net. It seems like it'd probably work pretty good.
Draco-REX
Good idea. I hope he gets the patent, and I hope no big companies steal it from him.

Radio Flyer1647545514
NHL won't allow it. As far as they are concerned, there are not even enough goals being scored per game. They are talking on changing the goalies requirements for pads again.

They are talking on changing the goalies requirements for pads again. Your right but the actual design on the pad itself might not be effected. If you look at Vaughn pads (velocity's I think) they're colored in a way that would suggest the goalie's 5 hole is bigger than it really is (ie, they use the color white on the inside of the leg pad so it visually looks open). Still if you compare the score of hockey games this season with Pre-lockout average scores theres a drastic difference. I love high scoring games, I just hope they dont change the goal size.
