TTQ B4U
Obama should make them take one for the team (country) and have them flip the bill for these bailouts. Hell, they can afford it and it's our money they'd be using anyway. :finger: oil companies anyway......work from home $15mo in gas :finger:

If you're going to be pissy about oil, blame OPEC OPEC cut 2% of the world's supply and it hasn't done shit to oil prices. OPEC doesn't have the control that people think they do. OPEC doesn't have the control that people think they do. Especially after Saudi Arabia left when OPEC tried to get them to withhold oil to keep it at over $100 per barrell. Bastards. Saudi Arabia never left OPEC This week Saudi Arabia, OPEC’s biggest member, said it will curb output by more than was announced at the Dec. 17 summit in Oran, Algeria. Draco-REX
Saudi Arabia never left OPEC Everything I can find says that they left. I haven't seen anything that says otherwise.
LJ
Everything I can find says that they left. I haven't seen anything that says otherwise. Ummm... no. They have not left. There was 1 article that said they left the table during a discussion in September 2008 and mis-represented that they left OPEC. December 17th 2008 Before the meeting, Saudi Arabia's Oil Minister told reporters that the group would cut 2 million barrels a day.

Feffman
Now let's think about the corporate taxes XOM will pay or the personal taxes XOM shareholders will pay. XOM is indirectly bailing out the car companies, banks, etc. What we need are a lot more companies like XOM to provide jobs and tax revenue.
