BloodRed
That kind of surprises me there at that Chevy dealership. Normally they kept the vettes inside. And if they had them outside, they normally where sitting inside after they closed. But yeah, they are never going to see that
FourString
Like already said, that thing is long gone by now.
Drewhop
Typically for a test drive on a corvette they should have had some basic information of the person in the first place. Driver license as well as a copy of there insurance card. And seriously if it was a test drive they should have already discussed some numbers and got some contact information. I would bet it was more along the lines of the car was left outside and someone inside the dealership got the fob for the car and gave it to a someone who came and stole it. Guest tbutera2112
guess the dealerships should start installing lojack on their cars and then offer it as an option to help sell them since its already installed oh, and if i was going to be stealing a vette from a stealership, i would be taking a z06
kenny
wait they found yours but just forgot to tell you. They found a stolen NASCAR that was hacked in half and my stripped shell happened to be with it. I wouldn't call that detective work. I knew a guy that got busted for doing that at a couple of Dealerships here in town.He was a nice guy just had a slight problem. He was a delivery driver at one of the Dealerships I worked for and we played basketball a few times until he got busted. yellowsnake
it could have been the x owner of the car with the other set of keys. he could have sold the keys to someone. and somethign along those lines. hell, he could have got the car repoed, ran the vin, found out who had it stole it himself, or anything like that.... NOPR
Damn I hope that doesn't happen to my new red 06 vette. I could never afford to replace it because I'd never get a deal like the one I got on mine again! I just hope the previous owner sends my title in the mail soon so I can register it.... BloodRed
Call the auto squad, they'll take good care of not finding it. We are talking Johnstown here. I use to live there and the police department had way to much extra money (bike cops? come on). But they are going to be helpless finding that car.
