FOR SURE :nod: The reducer showed. I started the car and tested the new camera it's uploading now. It sounded pretty good after it idled out for a few minutes. And I set up the boost gauge in the middle of the ac cluster because the ac is non existent anyway. My first time taking apart this block and I mixed up the pistons and rod end caps... I had no clue you were saposed to keep them together. Oh well you live and learn. The block was correct along with the heads however the pistons were pre 87 witch meant they were flat top, Now I could of used that combo but I already fucked up the rod end caps so I will be picking up a set of Pistons and Rods from Evil Notch the correct ones with valve releases on them later this week. Take them get them balanced and call it a day. Paint the block and the heads And open up the trans to see whats up with second gear. So far this project is awsome. Taking a lil more money than exspected but Im staying on track with it being a stock motor. Drive up to Marion and pick up a 4.10 gxl rear diff hopefully. This will be in there until I can get the 8.8 up in there. Maybe by that time I can do it myself... Plus Ill have a ton of it to do with the 8.8 install and the front of the car, charge piping , exhaust and other dumb shit. I wanna learn cant do that if I pay someone to do it. IMO, no point for going from 3.90 open to GXL for just a 4.10 that isn't any stronger, especially when there is a good Mig welder near by.
