street pilot Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 Toshiba RS-TX20. This is a series 2 unit which you can use the Tivo Basic (free) service. Also has an onboard DVD recorder. Generic Tivo Remote included. I can include a compatible wireless USB card for an additional $50 if you prefer to use this on your network rather than using the phone line to connect to the Tivo service. (not all wireless adapters work with this unit). Overall this unit works as you would expect. I made sure to get one of the confirmed compatible wireless usb adapters. Thanks for vouching for the unit. Do you output to your tv over coax or component?
