FS: HP Pavilion laptop

Here is the deal....the PC works fine. No issues with it at all. PC wise. The PROBLEM is. My dog ran past it the other week and his leg caught the power cord. So now I can get it to come on if I plug the cord in and kinda wedge it. If I touch the cord or move it, it shuts off. I think the power supply connection needs to be soldered to the board. Aside from that....great PC. I installed Vista on it..was slow, but worked. Oh, it needs a battery. This one is no good.

The Pavilions are popular with the A/C adaptor on the motherboard needing replaced. I had to wedge mine for a while then got it replaced a few years ago and now I have it apart again for the same issue, this time I'm replacing it and just bought the part for $5 on ebay. GL with the sale.
