ImUrOBGYN
I will say, "So far." But it's definitely good news at this point for the research. Two-year-old girl can see for the first time following stem cell treatment http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/4938179/Two-year-old-girl-can-see-for-the-first-time-following-stem-cell-treatment.html

HAOLE
The £30,000 treatment, which involves stems cells taken from an umbilical cord being fed into her forehead, has allowed her to see people, objects, colours and lights around her. Notice they are NOT aborted fetus stem cells. I am all for stem cell research as long as babies are not murdered in the process.
hot_wire
Did you guys follow the process of this? She had stem cells inserted by IV, and it sounds like they automatically found the damaged nerves and repaired them.
ImUrOBGYN
Notice they are NOT aborted fetus stem cells. I am all for stem cell research as long as babies are not murdered in the process. They've actually have come up with a couple ways recently that are proving to be viable. Hopefully, with some more research, they'll be as, if not more, affective. This will finally clear one the bigger hurdles that has currently hampered this type of research in some countries.
