Need upholstry work

Looking to have some foam cut out of my drivers side seat bottom for more head room with a helmet. Who can do it and what would it cost?

How high does the seat sit? Can you lower it by making custom rails?

Im sure I could but that is more work than I want to get into. There is a writeup from someone who shaved an inch from the seat bottom and got the effect. I just dont know enough about what Im doing to risk screwing it up.

 

Its a pita sitting sideways in the car because my helmet only fits in the sunroof hole.

Jim's Trim in Whitehall. They do awesome work. Recently they recovered the seat bottom in my K10 diesel truck and it matches the original top perfectly. They're prices are good as well.

Tom's upholstery on westerville rd just south of morse, next to sizzle marine. it looks like a house. he did a head liner for me years ago, turned out ok.

Andy have you looked at taking the headliner out of the car? might be a option as well and it is a quick thing that can be put back

Buckeye Upholstery on buyers circle, small hole in the wall, but they do work for our shop. Recently re wrapped a set of tan leather seats in a BMW, looks very nice. I don't have the number off hand.
