AJ Posted March 15, 2009 Report Share Posted March 15, 2009 will not work. in 99 you could get the old body truck with the 5.7L or the new body with the LS engine. the reason it says 1999-2002 GM V8 or 1999-2003 LS1/LS6 engines is because the express van did not get the LS engine untill 2003.
