KillJoy Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 I have been doing a LOT of looking lately for an Upper for my Finished Lower. I have been a little disheartened lately though. The price of .223 and 5.56 seems to be climing like there is no tomorrow. Who knows when the prices will stabalize, or even lower, if ever. Today, I came arcoss a .22 Upper from Tactical Solutions. It has a 25 Round Magazine that looks almost like a normal AR Mag, so, it does not look too dorky The price is about the same as a lot of Uppers (around $600), but the big kicker is it was designed to be used with Federal Bulk Ammo!!! I know it is not a defense rifle in this configuration, and will not stop the Zombie invasion, or whatever else you would want an AR for, but it looks like it would be fun as hell, and cheap to shoot. I had one of the Tac Sol Uppers on a Ruger MK2 once, and it was very good quality.
