I thought the torque would be higher considering it's a roots blower. Looks more like a centrifugal graph.

 

i haven't seen many centrifugal graphs make 350 lbs at 2k rpm on s 281 CI motor. :(

 

I agree as well that the powder metal rods are on borrowed time. Short shifting is nice in theory, but when she is pulling like a frieght train and you know you got 50+ more hp in it . . .
